Who we are
TuTour Colombia was born from the sea, but its story started long before the company existed. It began in the childhood of Luis Martínez, raised in a family where the sea was part of daily life. From a young age, Luis fished, water-skied, dived and sailed as naturally as learning to walk. For him, the sea was never a hobby — it was school, refuge, adventure and destiny.
After more than 25 years in banking and consulting, Luis decided to trade it all for his great passion: the sea. That is how SailboatSantaMarta was born — a nautical experience that did not exist in the city: living the Tayrona from the sea, aboard a sailboat, through the eyes of someone who does not merely transport passengers, but shares a way of life.
Over time, many visitors began asking for more — they wanted to visit several Tayrona beaches in a single day, explore more bays, discover new landscapes. From that need came the idea of adding launches and creating a new way to navigate the park. Together with Taylor, who had started working alongside Luis on the sailboat and shared that same passion, they joined forces to create TuTour Colombia: born from the spirit of SailboatSantaMarta, designed to open new routes, reach more places and offer different experiences within Tayrona National Park.
That is how Tayrona by Sea was born — the first experience in Santa Marta designed to visit three Tayrona beaches in a single day from the sea. And then Tayrona Snorkel & Beach — for those who want to discover the park's underwater world.
But at TuTour we understood something from day one: a boat can take you to a destination, but it is the people who turn that journey into an experience. That is why, when you sail with us, the difference is made by our team — sea people who are there to guide you, look after you and help you live the Caribbean with calm, warmth and trust.
Today we are much more than a tour company. We were born to share the Caribbean the way we live it: unhurried, with respect for nature, with local crews and with the conviction that Tayrona is not just visited — it is felt, sailed and remembered forever.

All our boats are available for private rental or charter. The price covers the entire boat, not per person. You choose who joins the experience, always within the maximum licensed capacity.
Tayrona National Park is a sacred and protected place. If you are looking for a party at sea, Tayrona is not the place.
Music is forbidden inside the park and at TuTour Colombia we deeply respect nature, the silence of the environment and the Línea Negra Tayrona, ancestral territory of the indigenous peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
